Roberto has a Systems Engineering degree with High Distinction from University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Prior to founding Proventus in 2005, Roberto worked for Morgan Stanley´s Latin American Investment Banking Group in New York where he was part of the teams that advised clients across the region in transactions surpassing US$3 billion. He then moved to São Paulo to work with Morgan Stanley´s MSGEM Private Equity group covering Latin America.

At Proventus, he has led teams advising blue chip corporates including the sale of a 50% stake in Pronaca to CMI, the sale of Ecofroz to Air Water, the investment from Corporación Favorita in Hanaska, the sale of Fisa Group to Constellation Software, the sale of Zuauto, the sale of El Kiosko to Alpina, capital raising for Marathon Sports, the reviews of the Quito subway and the Quito airport projects, among other transactions.

Daniel is an Industrial Engineer - Cum Laude, from Cornell University and has an MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA with Honors from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Before joining as Partner at Proventus in 2009, Daniel worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Lehman Brothers, specializing in Telecom and Techonology companies. Daniel also worked as a Case Team Leader at Bain and Company in their New York and Mexico City offices doing strategic consulting and private equity cases for clients in the U.S. and in Latin America.

At Proventus, Daniel has successfully led the execution of multiple transactions in the Consumer, Manufacturing, Financial and Services sectors including the acquisition of Rey Holdings by Corporación Favorita, the purchase of Inalecsa by Arca Continental, the sale of Rampas Andes Airport Services by the LATAM Airlines Group to Talma and the valuation and due diligence of Banco del Pacífico, among others.

Daniel is a member of the Quito chapter of Executive Forums and serves on the boards of private and non-profit institutions.

Nicolás has a MIM (Master in Management) from IE Business School in Madrid-Spain with a partial scholarship awarded by the Carolina Foundation and obtained two undergraduate degrees at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, one in Finance and the other in Business Administration.

He joined Proventus in 2009 where he started as a financial analyst, after postgraduate studies he was named associate and later became vice president of the firm. He has been a partner of Proventus since 2023, being the first professional of the firm in Complete the professional career from analyst to partner.

At Proventus, Nicolás has directed and participated in successful transactions in the tourism, agro-export, catering, retail, processed food, personal care, automotive trade and agricultural industries. Some of the transactions in which they participated are the acquisition of a share package of Hurtigruten (Norway) in a tourism operation in the Galapagos in Ecuador, advice on the sale of Ecofroz by the Air Water corporation (Japan), advising Corporación Favorita on the acquisition of Hanaska. On the other hand, it supported a consumer company in Ecuador to restructure financial liabilities during the pandemic.

Lem holds a bachelor's degree in international business administration and management and a master's degree in Banking and Financial Regulation from the University of Navarra. Certified Ecuadorian stock market operator and FMVA diploma awarded by the Corporate Finance Institute.

Before joining Proventus, Lem worked in corporate banking for European banks such as Bankia and BNP Paribas. He was also part of EY’s team in Ecuador where he advised on M&A and due diligence projects in the consumer, manufacturing, telecom and banking sectors. He also has experience in the Ecuadorian securities market.

Felipe has a double degree in Finance & Economics from Providence College. His Academic program also included a year at The London School of Economics.

During his time in college, Felipe was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Omicron Delta Epsilon, the business school and economics department honor societies.

He also completed internships in companies like Analytica Investments, Kruger and Produbanco. Prior to joining the firm, Felipe worked at GFMI in Miami, doing business development with the financial services industry in the USA and Canada market.

Jessica has a double degree in economics and finance – summa cum laude, from San Francisco de Quito University. He has worked in the finance and market intelligence departments of Siegfried Labs, the second largest pharmaceutical company in Ecuador. It also has extensive experience in the automotive, pharmaceutical and retail sectors.
