Proventus had the privilege of serving as the exclusive financial advisor to HDI International AG in the sale of its Ecuadorian subsidiary, HDI Seguros Ecuador S.A. (formerly Liberty Seguros S.A.), to Grupo Financiero Atlántida. The transaction was successfully closed in June 2025, following regulatory clearance from the relevant authorities. This deal represents a strategic decision for both parties and marks a relevant milestone in the development of the Ecuadorian insurance sector.
